The Bless The Vote Project was founded by the Witches League for Public Awareness in an effort to increase voter participation and issue awareness among participants of the Earth Religions. The need for such awareness became evident after several legislative issues came to light as they were proposed as bills or acts on their respective state congressional floors. These bills were proposed by conservative Christian groups and other similar groups, and if they had not been brought to light they would have severely impaired our religious rights. Many of these bill are written to appear benign, but are in reality worded in such a way as to force others to act in a manner consistent with a particular religious ideology. The Bless The Vote Project will keep an eye out for bills, laws, and other political issues that may affect us all
