Alabama Voter Registration and Participation Info:

All U.S. citizens, who are 18 years of age and older, not convicted of a felony, not legally declared mentally incompetent, residents of the state, are eligible to vote in Alabama. To register to vote, appear in person at the Board of Registrars Office at your County Courthouse, or at your local Department of Motor Vehicles. Alaska Voter Registration and Participation Info:

All U.S. citizens, who are 18 years of age and older, and residents of the state, are eligible to vote in Alaska. To register to vote, mail-in a completed voter registration application card, which are available at public libraries and the State Division of Elections office. You can also register to vote in person at your local elections office, usually located at City Hall, or you can register in person at the Department of Motor Vehicles. If you miss the mail-in voter registration deadline, you can also register in person at the polls on Election Day -- just be sure to bring along a valid form of identification.

Arizona Voter Registration and Participation Info:

All U.S. citizens, who are 18 years of age and older, and residents of the state are eligible to vote in Arizona. To register to vote, mail in a voter registration card, available at public libraries, banks, state agencies and your county recorder's office. Residents can also register in person at the county Registrar of Voters office, or at the Department of Motor Vehicles

ARKANSAS Voter Registration and Participation Info:

All U.S. citizens, who are 18 years of age and older, and residents of the state, are eligible to vote in Arkansas. Citizens of Arkansas have three options when registering. They may: 1) register at a number of agency-based locations; 2) may register to vote when changing their name or address when applying for or renewing a driver's license at the DMV; or 3) may register your County Clerk's office. To register to vote by mail, pick up a Voter Registration Application or request one from the Secretary of State, and complete and return the form to the Secretary's Office. These mail-in forms will then be forwarded to the appropriate counties. If you are not 18 before the voter registration deadline, but will be before Election Day, you can register to vote.

California Voter Registration and Participation Info:

All U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older, not in prison or on parole, not found by a court to be mentally incompetent, and residents of the state may register to vote in California. To register, mail-in a voter registration application card. Cards are available at public libraries, via the County Clerk's office, or other state agencies. Completed voter registration cards may be returned in person or by mail. Residents may also register to vote at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Connecticut Voter Registration and Participation Info:

A U.S. citizen, who is 18 years of age or older and a resident of the state is eligible to register to vote in Connecticut. There are three ways to register to vote in Connecticut: (1) by mail-in voter registration application form, availble at local libraries, state agencies and your Town Clerk or Registrar of Voters; (2) in person at your Town Clerk or Registrar of Voters office, usually located at your City or Town Hall, or (3) at the Department of Motor Vehicles. If registering to vote in person, be sure to bring along your birth certificate, driver's license, Social Security card or other piece of valid identification.

Colorado Voter Registration and Participation Info:

All U.S. citizens, who are 18 years of age and have resided in the state and precinct 25 days prior to an election, is eligible to register to vote. Colorado offers its residents the ability to register to vote (1) through mail in registration forms, which may be obtained at public libraries and various state social service agencies; (2) by appearing in person at the county or municipal clerks offices and (3) at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Delaware Voter Registration and Participation Info:

All U.S. citizens, 18 years of age by election day and older, and bona fide residents of the state are eligible to register to vote in Delaware. To register, appear in person at your County Elections Office or your County Division of Motor Vehicles. Delaware also offers voter registration via mobile units. Call your County Elections Office for times and dates that the mobile unit will be in your area. To register by mail, contact your County Elections Office for a mail-in voter registration form.
