All U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older, and resident of the state are eligible to register to vote in Hawaii. You may register by mail by picking up and completing a voter registration application card which is available at public libraries, state agencies and City Halls. You can also register in person at your local Department of Motor Vehicles

Idaho Voter Registration and Participation Info:
All U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older, and residents of the state for at least 30 days are eligible to register to vote in Idaho. To register, complete and return a mail-in a voter registration application card, which is available at various state agencies or by calling your County Clerk's office. You can also register in person at your County Clerk's office, or at you local Department of Motor Vehicles.

Illinois Voter Registration and Participation Info:
All U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older, and residents of the state for at least 30 days are eligible to register to vote in Illinois. You must register in person in Illinois, as the state does not allow for mail-in voter registration. To register, appear in person at your County Clerk's Office, local Board of Elections Commission, or a deputy voter registrar. You can also vote in person at the Department of Motor Vehicles. When you go to register, be sure to bring along two forms of identification, with at least one showing your current address.

Indiana Voter Registration and Participation Info:
All U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older, and residents of the state for at least 30 days prior to the election, are eligible to register to vote in Indiana. To register by mail, complete and return a voter registration application card, which are available at local libraries, YMCAs, fire and police stations, or by calling the State Board of Elections, who will send an application to you via mail. You can also register to vote in person at your local Department of Motor Vehicles.

Iowa Voter Registration and Participation Info:
All U.S. citizens, 17 1/2 years of age (must be 18 to actually vote) and residents of the state are eligible to register to vote in Iowa. Residents of Iowa can register to vote in three ways: (1) by mail-in voter registration application forms, which are available at local banks, union halls, utility companies and political party headquarters, (2) in person at the office of your County Auditor, and (3) in person at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

All U.S. citizens, 18 years of age and older, and residents of the state are eligible to register to vote in Kansas. Kentucky Voter Registration and Participation Info:
All U.S. citizens, who are 18 years of age or older, a residents of the state for at least one year, a county residents for six months, and residents of their precinct for 60 days, are eligible to register to vote in Kentucky. To register, appear in person at county clerk's office. To register by mail, pick up, complete and return a voter registration application card, available at one of 120 local county clerk's offices. You can also register in person at you local Department of Motor Vehicles

Maine Voter Registration and Participation Info:
All U.S. citizens, 18 years of age and older, and residents of the state are eligible to vote in Maine. You can register either in person or by mail. To register in person you must appear before a registrar and fill out a short voter registration form. You can also register in person at your local Department of Motor Vehicles. To register by mail, complete and return a mail-in voter registration form, available at the offices of your Municipal Clerk, via the State Board of Elections, or at your local Department of Motor Vehicles.

note: 105% doesn't make sense does it? well that's what the FEC says. I think it has something to do with the fact that their population estimation is based on Bureau of Census Data. If you find out for sure, let me know.

Maryland Voter Registration and Participation Info:
All U.S. citizens, who will be 18 years of age (or older) by the next general election, are not disqualified by criminal record, and residents of the state are eligible to register to vote in Maryland. You can register by mail or in person. To register by mail, complete and return a mail-in voter registration application card, available at numerous state agencies, Department of Motor Vehicles, or elementary or secondary schools. To register in person, stop in at your local elections office. As long as you continue to live in the jurisdiction in which you're registered, keep your address current with the election board, and vote once within a five-calendar year period you will not need to register again.
