House approves Ten Commandments provision

The House Wednesday approved an amendment that allows the Ten Commandments
to to be posted in public schools and other government buildings. The measure
was part of the juvenile justice bill that passed the House Thursday night.
A "yes" vote is a vote to approve the measure. Voting "yes" were 45
Democrats and 203 Republicans. Voting "no" were 164 Democrats, 15 Republicans
and one independent. Six House members did not vote.
