A Letter to the Westerly Police

Dear Detective Wright,

I have enclosed a packet of information provided by our organization. I understand that you have a current investigation underway that may or may not involve members of our spiritual path. I hope that this packet will aid your search for information.

It is a tragedy whenever there is a loss of life regardless of the cause. I am also certain that in the present time in which we are living, many people are trying to cope. Unfortunately some find this stress coupled with their personal issues just too much to bear. I hope that this packet will reassure you that paganism and witchcraft are benign earth religions that do not condone or promote sacrifice or murder of any kind.

I believe that you will find that recent events were not in anyway related to the couple's spiritual views and practices but rather an event related to their personal life stresses coupled with the stress of the crisis of our country.
