A Few Words From the Web Manager

Hello and Blessed Be!  My name is Chad Anctil, and I have been working for the Witches' League for Public Awareness for over two years now.  Working for the WLPA has afforded me the opportunity to help other Witches and Pagans, and even members of other minority religions in the US, and even around the world.
As far as my background, I spent clost to ten years as a solitary Wiccan, and I am currently a first degree initiate in a primarily Celtic tradition of Witchcraft.  I have studied many aspects and traditions of the Craft for my writing and articles, and in my over ten years following the path, I have not stopped studying- I believe that life itself is a learning experience and try to pull all I can from it every day.
I also believe in and work hard for Religious Tolerance, and tolerance in general, for all people, and it's an issue I put a lot of personal energy into.  I have started the Religious Tolerance Project here with the WLPA, and it has been getting a very favorable response since it's inception, from people of many different faiths and beliefs.
I am very open about my faith and have been for many years, and I believe that no one should feel afraid or ashamed to call themselves Witch or Wiccan or Pagan. I believe that's a large part of what working with the WLPA is all about, educating people to the facts about Wicca, banishing the misconceptions about Witches that have plagued us for centuries.  I hope that my work with the WLPA will help in some small way.
From a technical standpoint (I am a web manager, after all) Professionally I am a computer systems engineer.  I have been developing web pages and Internet applications for about five years now, and have had several web pages of my own.  My latest, Wiccan Magic, is a seasonal guide of information and resources for Wiccans and Witches that deals mostly with the Sabbats, as well as the legend and lore that surrounds many of our holidays.
As I serve the community in my capacity as Web Manager here at CelticCrow, my responsbilities have grown as the website, and our online community have grown. I have responsibilities in several different areas of the website including Witches in the Media, the Links Section, and Craft Resources, and our CelticCrow Communities services, but I am open to ideas, comments, and suggestions from anyone, about anything here on the site.  Things people like, things people don't like, things you would like to see, or general comments and questions- all are welcome, and if I cannot help you, I will do my best to get your message to someone who can.  You may email me at chada@celticcrow.com and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
In closing, I will do my best to keep this website current, interesting, informative, and even entertaining. The internet is an amazing and powerful tool for knowledge and information when it is used properly, and I, along with the rest of the WLPA Board of Directors, will make sure that the Witches' League for Public Awareness website is the proper use of this magnificent tool.  Thank you and Brightest Blessings to you all!
